Subject: Amusement Park Discount Tickets
Fellow Teaneck Resident,
With the arrival of Back to School Sales, the end of summer must,
unfortunately, be near. For all of those who are planning a day trip or a
mini-vacation before school starts, the Teaneck Recreation Department offers
discount tickets to amusement parks and other attractions in New Jersey and
elsewhere at substantial discounts. The discount tickets are available for
purchase at the Richard Rodda Recreation Center at 250 Colonial Street. The
Recreation Department is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 AM to 4:30
PM and is also open Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8 PM and on
Saturday mornings from 10 AM to Noon.
Discount tickets are provided through the New Jersey Recreation and Park
Association. Teaneck residents may pay by check (payable to “NJRPA” and not
to exceed $175.00) and must supply a driver’s license with date of birth at
time of purchase. Non-residents must pay by cash or money order for the
exact amount of the purchase. All sales are final, and there is no buy back
or refund of purchase for unused tickets. There is no guarantee that all
tickets are in stock every day, so please call ahead.
For each park, the location, phone number and website are included, along
with the discount (and gate) ticket prices. These ticket prices are often
far better than non-discounted rates, but it may be possible to find better
prices elsewhere. Driving distances and times were calculated using the
Rodda Recreation Center as a starting point based on information obtained
from http://www.mapquest.com and (along with all other information provided
herein) are believed to be accurate, but should be confirmed independently.
