If you are looking for a kosher restaurant, check out
http://www.shamash.org/kosher
You may wish to leave the name of the restaurant blank and search for all restaurants in a certain region. If you can add any restaurants or reviews to that list, it would benefit us all.

From PilotYid, this database combines the restaurant listings from Shamash.org with Google Mapping.

There are so many recent postings looking for kosher food all over the planet, that I am suggesting a simple and global solution that I often use: Google the name of the city with the word kosher in front of it, e.g. "kosher seattle"--you will then find a plethora of Jewiish/Kosher info and you can individualize your research--e.g. have menus faxed to you in advance, Mapquest your findings, etc. Have fun! A few other resources you may want to post are www.sederolam.com which has now joined with http://www.totallyjewishtravel.com . I find it has more than Shamash for certain locales and contains more recent postings. I also find it helpful to search the websites of local Chabad's and Young Israel's. Many times they'll have their own listings for kosher resources which can tip you off to restaurants or grocery stores.
