Subject: [TeaneckShuls] Birchas Ha'ilanos - Blessing on Blossoming Trees & Locations

The following bracha is said in the Spring (preferably during the month of Nissan), on fruit trees in blossom. It should be recited on the flower blossoms but not on fruit that has already ripened. Some have a preference to recite it on two or more trees. It is only recited once in the season. See Shulchan Aruch O.C. 226, Mishna Brura and other commentaries.

ברוך אתה ד' אלוקינו מלך העולם, שלא חסר בעולמו דבר, וברא בו בריות טובות ואילנות טובים, להנות בהם בני אדם
